Kuala Lumpur is the heart of Malaysia, showing off its stunning skyscrapers, colonial architecture, dynamic locals, delicious street food and countless attractions. Kuala Lumpur attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world and if you are one of them and travelling for the first time, make sure you do not forget to do these things in KL mentioned below:

 

1.    Visit the Petronas Twin Towers.

 

The Petronas Twin towers are the tallest twin tower in the world, standing tall in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Your visit to KL is just not completed without visiting the Petronas Twin Towers. At the base of the Petronas Twin Towers sits the Suria KLCC, an upmarket shopping mall that is also a major attraction for tourists. The Skybridge which connects the twin tower gives a stunning view of the city is another attraction that must be visited. Visiting the Twin Towers is one of the best things to be done in Kuala Lumpur.

 


2.    Try Some delicious food at Jalan Alor.


Jalan Alor is the city's local cuisine, it is a small space of Chinese Sea Food Restaurants, hawker stalls set up on both sides of the walkways and they serve delicious smoked meat, barbequed meats, wontons, noodles and also local Malaysian cuisine. The food available here is the best and cheapest in the country.

 

3.    Visit the Central Market to do some shopping.


Central Market is famous because of its series of boutiques, souvenir stalls and also local merchandise which are available at cheap price. Central Market is a huge attraction for shopaholic people and also tourists visiting KL.

 

 

4.    Get Some Adventure at the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park.


Sunway Lagoon Theme Park comprises the amusement park, water park, extreme park, wildlife park and the scream park. This is the best tourist destination for families visiting KL with kids. There is so much entertainment within one park which makes it very attractive for the tourists.

 

5.    Visit the exciting Batu Caves.


The Batu Caves is a 400-million-year-old limestone hill that consists of three main caves plus a series of smaller ones, most of them containing statues and a 100-year-old shrine of Hindu gods. The main cave, known as Cathedral Cave, is at the top of a massive colourful staircase with a tall gold statue of Lord Murugan welcoming the visitors at the bottom of the staircase.


6.    Spend some time with Marine Life at Aquaria KLCC.


Aquaria KLCC is home to 150 marine species including tiger sharks, sea snakes, stingrays, corals and other sea creatures. It also has 5000 Gallon freshwater tanks having maneaters like the giant alligator gar, arapaima and other freshwater fishes. The Aquarium is built in such a manner that you will feel walking inside the sea which makes it an exciting and adventurous tourist destination.

 

7.    Experience the natural beauty at the Perdana Botanical Garden.

 

Perdana Botanical Garden is home to more than 800 species of flora and you can colourful flowers in full bloom around the park with some man-made fountains and structures adding to the beauty of the gardens. It is a recreational park which gives warmth to our eyes and a very famous spot for the tourist to visit.
